The Voices (2014)
This strange and brilliant masterpiece premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Many people do not even know it exists, which is truly a shame. I LOVE this movie !! It is quirky,weird,hilarious, gory, and very twisted.( all the things that make a great movie!!)..Unfortunately it was a bit much for the masses, and because it's content is pretty disturbing for most, it did not become as well known as most of Reynold's other films.This isn't a "scary" movie, but it is horror. And also a dark comedy.
As long as you are not offended easily (and can handle a few severed heads in the fridge), you REALLY should watch this movie!
Here is the synopsis:
A mentally unhinged factory worker (Ryan Reynolds) must decide whether to listen to his talking cat and become a killer, or follow his dog's advice to keep striving for normalcy.
I mean...how could you read that and NOT want to watch this?!?!? 😏😁 Ryan Reynolds is a genius actor-I love him in everything he has ever done, but his performance
in this is something truly special.
